PART 2: TO BECOME A PARTNER OF THE LOVE JOURNEY
Article 4. What is a Partner?
The Sowing Journey Fund does not operate alone, but often has partners to carry out the Love Sowing Journey (charity project). It is also a criterion to spread kindness, creating conditions for many individuals and organizations to participate in charity work.
- Partners can be individuals or organizations. The partner may or may not have a legal entity. If the partner is an unincorporated organization, the Sowing Journey Fund still interacts with the partner like a legal entity. This means that all agreements between the Sowing Journey Fund and the organization go through the head of the organization, not a specific individual. With such understanding, the Sowing Journey Fund requires that the organization must have an internal charter to elect the head of the organization when changing leadership personnel. The successor to the head of the organization must fulfill the commitments that his predecessor agreed with the Sowing Journey Fund.
- The Partner wishes to carry out a Charity Project whose purpose and scope and scale are within the Fund’s capacity. Charity projects can be as small as supporting an individual in need of the poor or very large such as building schools, bridges, and disaster relief. The project can be for a term like medical assistance or indefinitely like an educational project, a community development project.
- The partner meets the partner criteria set out in article 5 of this Regulation.
Article 5. Criteria of partners
Partners must meet the following criteria:
- An individual or organization that has had a reputable, unmistakable charity before and is known to the community. The Foundation will survey and evaluate the charity projects that that individual or organization has implemented.
- Qualified individual or organization to jointly implement the Project with the Fund. If an individual or organization only provides information but is not able to participate in the Project, it is only the party providing information to the Fund, not a partner. If an individual or organization only contributes materially but is not able to participate in the Project, it is only a benefactor, not a partner.
- The individual or organization agrees to sign the Cooperation Agreement with the Fund and commits to comply with this Agreement. If the Partner has legal status, the party signing the Agreement will be a legal person and the change of the head of the legal entity will not affect the signed Cooperation Agreement. If the Partner does not have a legal status, for example, a charity group, foundation or spontaneous association does not have a legal entity, the party signing the Agreement is a natural person and when changing the natural person must re-sign the Agreement. However, if the partner is an organization without a legal entity, must sign an agreement with a natural person, the Sowing Journey Fund will require that organization to have an internal Charter to elect the head of the organization if any. change leadership. Article 6. Benefits of Partners
When you become a Partner of the Foundation, you will have more advantages when working with the Fund to carry out the Charity Project you desire.
- The project will be monitored for transparency and reasonableness in financial revenue and expenditure by experienced and capable collaborators. This monitoring mechanism is available as specified in the Cooperation Agreement. It is possible that the Fund’s auditor will participate in project supervision.
- The project is called for and donated on the Foundation’s official media and on behalf of the Foundation. All donations are updated in real time. The benefactors who contribute to the Project will receive a valid Receipt with income tax deduction value.
- The Internal Fund will partially support the project’s administrative costs without the contributions of benefactors.
- For long-term and large-scale projects, the Fund can invite partners to participate in naming the Project to show the will and belief of the Partners in the Project. In this case, the Project may be referred to by another name as “Program”.
Article 7. Responsibilities of the Partner
In addition to the benefits for the Partner when jointly implementing the Project with the Fund, the Partner must also have the following responsibilities:
- Respect and implement the terms of the Cooperation Agreement.
- Together with the Fund, implement the project in accordance with the purposes and principles in the Cooperation Agreement
- Update and record financial income and expenditure books in accordance with the Fund’s instructions
- Cooperate well with the Fund when members of the Fund conduct financial supervision.
