Returning to Quang Tri on an August afternoon when the sweltering heat had not yet ended, the Sowing Journey Fund set our feet down on Route 9, the territory of Dong Ha city and visited the land of A Bung – a mountainous commune, remote and deep border areas of Quang Tri province.
Recently, people are still working hard every day and trying to rise up. However, when accessing knowledge, medical services – medical examination and treatment, they still face many limitations.
The difficulties are partly shared by the 4th Journey of Sowing Love organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Young Doctors Association with a team of Doctors and medical staff. That day, A Bung people were given free health education consultations and medicine distribution. The delegation gave gifts to 500 policy beneficiaries and poor households, gave scholarships to 50 disadvantaged children to be able to go to school, and donated a library of elite books to serve people in the commune. In order to contribute a small part in providing medical and cultural care for policy families, poor households and children in remote and needy areas.

The Journey of Sowing Love hopes that there will be more opportunities to organize such meaningful programs for difficult lands and less fortunate circumstances in society because when love is given, it is love. It is forever!
